230V AC centrifugal case fan
This 140mm centrifugal fan runs directly from 230V mains at 50 or 60Hz. It draws 0.45A at 50Hz and 0.48A at 60Hz with power consumption of 100W and 110W respectively. The unit includes a 2µF 450VDB capacitor and meets CE standards. It is built for industrial enclosures and server chassis that need high static pressure airflow.
35000m³/h airflow ceiling at 1500rpm
At 50Hz the impeller spins at 1500rpm and at 60Hz at 1400rpm. The fan operates from -25°C up to 40°C at 50Hz and 30°C at 60Hz. Minimum back pressure is 0Pa. The external rotor motor design provides forced electronic cooling and a compact footprint. Speed control via analogue input is supported for variable airflow demand.
Replaces belt-drive or axial fans in tight cabinets
The forward-curved blade scroll housing suits ducted installations where axial fans stall. It is not for builders needing PWM motherboard control or low-voltage DC operation. The 230V AC supply and analogue speed interface require compatible wiring and control gear. Buyers wanting quiet desktop cooling should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item
Will this 230 V fan run safely alongside my existing 230 V AC components that operate at 50 Hz?
Yes, the fan is rated for 230 VAC at both 50 Hz and 60 Hz with a current draw of 0.45 A at 50 Hz, so it matches standard mains-powered equipment.
How can I confirm the fan is spinning at the correct speed after installation?
At 50 Hz the motor should run at 1500 rpm and draw about 0.45 A; at 60 Hz expect 1400 rpm and 0.48 A. Measure current or use a tachometer to verify.
Does the package include the required 2 µF 450 V capacitor, or must I source it separately?
The specifications list a 2 µF capacitor rated at 450 V to CE standard S0, but the bundle contents are not described, so assume the capacitor is not included and obtain one separately.
