Centrifugal fan for industrial cooling
This 225 mm centrifugal fan delivers 1200 m3/h maximum airflow at 2650 1/min. It operates on 230 VAC across a 200–277 V range and draws 215–240 W. The IP44-rated unit is built for medical, rail, HVAC and new-energy vehicle installations where reliable forced-air cooling is required.
Installation notes and common issues
The fan runs directly from single-phase mains at 50/60 Hz and needs a 4.0 uF / 450 V startup capacitor, which is not included. Wiring must follow Class F insulation practice and the -25 °C to 55 °C ambient window. A frequent mistake is omitting the capacitor or using an undersized supply cable for the 0.60–0.88 A operating current.
Airflow capacity and limits
At 490 Pa maximum static pressure the fan maintains rated flow through dense heat-exchanger fins or filter banks. Beyond that pressure the curve drops sharply, so ducted runs with many bends or high-resistance media will starve the impeller. The 69 dB(A) noise level also limits use in quiet office or residential spaces.

Questions about this item
How do I confirm the fan is running at 2650 1/min after installation?
Measure the motor speed with a tachometer; it should read 2650 1/min at 50/60 Hz, and the airflow should reach 1200 m3/h with noise around 69 dB(A).
What comes in the box and do I need to buy a capacitor separately?
The fan unit is supplied; a 4.0uF /450V startup capacitor is required and must be purchased separately if not already fitted.
Which voltage range version should I choose for a 230 VAC supply?
This model operates on AC200V...277V, covering standard 230 VAC single-phase supplies, so select the R2E225-AX52-05 for that voltage.
