SKU CH-52VX-FGABB

A 12 cm aluminium-frame case fan running on 48 V at 2.50 A

  • 48V power input drives efficient cooling performance
  • 50A current rating supports strong airflow delivery
  • 120mm aluminium frame provides durable heat dissipation
  • 12038 form factor fits standard case mounting points

48 V aluminium-frame case fan

This 12 cm fan uses a 48 V 2.50 A motor housed in an aluminium frame. It is built for servers, industrial chassis or workstations that already provide a 48 V fan header or backplane supply. The high-voltage design keeps current draw low while moving air through dense component layouts.

Upgrade from lower-voltage or plastic-frame fans

Replace 12 V or 24 V units when the system infrastructure delivers 48 V and the aluminium frame is required for rigidity or grounding. The jump is worth it only if the chassis power distribution matches the 48 V specification; otherwise the fan cannot be powered.

Questions about this item

What are the mounting hole dimensions for the 12038 aluminum frame?

The 12038 frame follows the standard 120 mm fan mounting pattern with holes spaced for 12 cm screw centres.

How do I connect the 48 V 2.50 A power leads correctly?

Connect the red wire to 48 V positive and the black wire to ground; reversing polarity will prevent the fan from spinning.
