ThinkPad R61 Independent Graphics Fan

This replacement cooling fan is built for the Lenovo ThinkPad R61 models equipped with discrete graphics. It suits owners or repair technicians who need a direct-fit cooler for that specific chassis. The part arrives new and ready to install without modification.

Discrete-Graphics R61 Cooling Fit

The fan mates with the existing heatsink assembly used on independent-graphics configurations, so the original mounting points and power connector align. It clears the dedicated GPU thermal zone without requiring a different heatsink or shroud. Buyers whose R61 uses integrated graphics should verify compatibility before ordering.

Questions about this item

Will the R61 heatsink clear the discrete GPU on my ThinkPad R61?

This fan heatsink is built for the R61 independent graphics model, so it fits the dGPU layout of that chassis.

How loud does the fan run during long sessions?

It spins at a constant speed designed for the R61 cooling assembly, so noise stays steady under sustained load.
