70 mm dual-ball case fan

The Fans YY7015H12B is a 70 mm square case fan built for tight chassis spaces and radiator mounts. It runs on 12 V and draws 0.18 A, making it suitable for low-power cooling duties. The three-wire connector provides tachometer feedback for speed monitoring. Builders fitting compact ITX cases or slim radiators will find the 15 mm thickness compatible with restricted clearances.

Dual-ball bearing and 3-wire lead

The dual-ball bearing design reduces friction compared with sleeve alternatives, extending operating life in continuous-use scenarios. A standard three-wire lead supplies power, ground and a tach signal so the motherboard or fan controller can report RPM. No PWM wire is present, so speed control relies on voltage adjustment rather than duty-cycle signalling. The fan ships as a single unit without mounting screws or adapters.

Questions about this item

How long do the dual ball bearings last before replacement?

Dual ball bearings typically outlast sleeve bearings by several years under continuous operation; expect replacement only after extended heavy use.

What limits runtime when the fan runs at 12 V and 0.18 A continuously?

The 12 V 0.18 A rating sets the thermal ceiling; sustained load heats the motor until internal protection throttles speed.
