What the Fantech Crypto VX7 White Offers

The Fantech Crypto VX7 White is a wired gaming mouse built around an optical sensor that adjusts from 200 to 8000 DPI on the fly. It weighs 116 g and measures 128 by 68 by 41 mm, with a 1.8 m nylon braided cable and a silicon rubber scroll wheel. Six programmable buttons and four-zone RGB lighting complete the package, while the switches are rated for 10 million clicks.

Who This Suits and Who Should Look Elsewhere

This mouse suits gamers who want adjustable sensitivity up to 8000 DPI, a lightweight ambidextrous shell, and onboard macro support with 125 Hz polling. It also includes a spare set of Teflon skates for extended glide. Buyers who need a higher polling rate, wireless freedom, more than six buttons, or a sensor spec above 8000 DPI should consider other options.

The Spec That Decides Fit

The optical sensor tops out at 8000 DPI with 60 ips tracking speed and 20 g acceleration, polled at 125 Hz. If your play style demands a faster report rate or a higher maximum sensitivity, this model will not meet that requirement.

Questions about this item

What desk space does the 128 mm by 68 mm footprint need?

The mouse measures 128 mm long by 68 mm wide by 41 mm high, so allow at least that much clear area on the mat.

How do I install the extra Teflon skates included in the box?

Peel off the worn factory skates, clean the bottom surface, then press the replacement skates firmly into the same recesses.

When will the 10 million click rating require a button replacement?

The switches are rated for 10 million clicks; heavy daily use may reach that limit in a few years, at which point the mouse would need service or replacement.
