Compact bar speaker for desk setups

The Fantech Groove Bar Pro BS151 is a portable gaming speaker designed for computer users who want stereo sound from a single unit that fits beneath a monitor. Twin 45 mm drivers deliver 3 W per channel across a 150 Hz to 15 kHz range with 85 dB sensitivity and 3 % total harmonic distortion. A built-in microphone adds voice-chat capability without a separate headset.

Dual wired inputs and small footprint

Connectivity comes through a 3.5 mm auxiliary jack and a USB port, giving two wired paths to a PC or laptop without relying on wireless pairing. The enclosure measures 91 mm wide, 92 mm high and 84 mm deep, so it occupies minimal desk space and can be moved between workstations. Rated operation from -40 to 85 °C indicates broad environmental tolerance for LAN events or outdoor use.

Step up from monitor speakers or mono units

This bar replaces basic integrated monitor audio or single-driver USB speakers when clearer stereo separation and a dedicated microphone are needed. The jump is worthwhile for gamers and remote workers who want plug-and-play sound with voice input but do not require a full 2.1 system or surround processing. Buyers who want more storage, a second card, or a separate subwoofer should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

What does the 3.5 mm and USB input interface support?

The 3.5 mm jack provides analogue audio while the USB connection carries digital audio and power for the built-in microphone.

How much desk space do the 91 mm width and 84 mm depth require?

The bar measures 91 mm wide by 84 mm deep, so it fits on a narrow shelf or monitor stand.

How do I switch between the wired and wireless modes?

Plug the 3.5 mm cable for wired audio or pair via Bluetooth for wireless playback; the speaker remembers the last active source.
