Extra-wide surface for keyboard and mouse

The Fantech Motion MMT453 is a new black mouse pad measuring 400 by 450 millimetres with a 5-millimetre thickness. Its XL dimensions allow a full-size keyboard and mouse to sit side by side without overhang. A herringbone-pattern rubber base grips the desk firmly during rapid movements.

Gamers needing uninterrupted glide space.

This pad suits players who want a single continuous surface for broad swipes and low-sensitivity aiming. The stitched edges resist fraying through extended use. Buyers with limited desk depth or who prefer a smaller, portable pad should look at something else.

400-by-450-millimetre footprint decides fit

The overall footprint of 400 by 450 millimetres is the single specification that determines whether this mat fits your workspace. Measure the available desk area before ordering; the pad cannot be trimmed or folded to size.

Questions about this item

How much desk space does the 400x450mm pad need?

The pad measures 400 millimetres wide by 450 millimetres deep, so allow at least that footprint plus a small margin around the edges for cables or wrist rests.

What is the correct way to place the herringbone base on the desk?

Lay the rubber honeycomb side flat on a clean, dry surface and press from the centre outward; skipping the cleaning step is what lets dust break the grip.

When do the stitched edges typically start to show wear?

The premium stitching is designed to resist fraying for the life of the pad; if threads eventually loosen, the whole mat is replaced rather than repaired.
