Desk Mat for Gaming and Work

The Fantech MP70 BASIC desk mat measures 700 by 300 millimetres and is three millimetres thick. A textured cloth surface gives precise mouse tracking for gaming or creative tasks. The yellow finish adds colour while protecting the desk from scratches and spills. It suits anyone wanting a single large pad for keyboard and mouse.

Surface Feel and Stability

Stitched edges stop the cloth from fraying or shrinking over time. A premium rubber base grips the desk firmly so the mat does not slide during rapid movements. The three-millimetre thickness adds a thin cushion without raising the keyboard noticeably. No power or cooling is involved with this accessory.

Build Details and Daily Use

The mat ships rolled in a carton measuring 435 by 140 by 36 millimetres and weighs 446 grams. Only the desk mat is included in the package. Buyers who need a smaller footprint or a different thickness should check other models. The stitched border and anti-slip base are built to last through extended daily use.

Questions about this item

How do I install the MP70 BASIC desk mat so the rubber base grips properly?

Lay the mat flat on a clean desk, align the 700×300 mm edges, then press firmly from the centre outward so the anti-slip rubber base bonds evenly across the surface

What maintenance will the stitched edges need over time?

The anti-fray stitched edges are designed to prevent shrinkage and fraying for years; wipe the cloth surface with a damp cloth and mild detergent when dirty, then air dry

What limit appears first during long gaming sessions on the 3 mm cloth?

The 3 mm thickness keeps the surface firm, so heat buildup under the wrist is minimal; the first limit is usually personal comfort rather than pad performance
