HVAC Motor Replacement

The FASCO D1162 is a shaded-pole motor designed as an OEM replacement for HVAC equipment. It operates on 115V AC single-phase power at 60 Hz with a 3.3 frame size and open air-over enclosure.

Upgrade From Worn Shaded-Pole Units

This motor replaces failed shaded-pole motors rated between 1/250 hp and 1/100 hp. The jump is worth it when the original unit shows thermal-protection trips, reduced airflow or bearing noise, restoring the original 10 W output at 540 or 390 RPM.

Suits Direct 115V Belly-Band Mounts

It suits technicians replacing belly-band motors that require CW/CCW rotation and auto thermal protection in 40 °C ambient conditions. Builders needing 208 V or 200 V operation, higher horsepower or different mounting styles should look elsewhere.
