  • Product typeClosed Base
  • Shaded-pole motor runs quietly at 500 RPM
  • Two-speed operation delivers 10 W output for flexible airflow
  • 115 V AC supply with low 0.50/0.30 A draw saves energy
  • Impedance thermal protection and Class B insulation handle 40 °C ambient
  • Open air-over enclosure and stud mounting suit direct fan replacement

HVAC Replacement Motor

The FASCO D129 is a shaded-pole fan and blower motor built for single-phase 115 V AC systems. It delivers two-speed operation at 1/125 hp and 1/200 hp for residential or light-commercial air-handling equipment.

Open Air-Over Enclosure

A 3.3 frame with open air-over cooling and impedance thermal protection keeps windings within a 40 °C ambient limit. Stud mounting and a CCW lead-end shaft allow direct bolt-on installation in compatible furnace or ventilation housings.

Low-Wattage Direct Swap

At 10 W output the unit replaces existing shaded-pole motors of the same frame, voltage and shaft orientation. The jump is worthwhile when the original motor shows thermal-tripping or speed loss and a 115 V, 60 Hz supply is available.

Questions about this item

What voltage and frequency does the FASCO D129 motor run on?

It operates on 115V AC at 60 Hz and draws 0.50 A on high speed and 0.30 A on low speed.

What mounting style and shaft rotation does this motor use?

The motor uses a stud mounting type with a 3.3 frame and the shaft rotates clockwise when viewed from the shaft end.

How is the motor wired for its two speeds and what thermal protection does it have?

It is a shaded-pole design with impedance thermal protection; the two speeds are selected by connecting the appropriate lead for 1/125 hp or 1/200 hp output.
