4.76 in 5CCT Gimbal Recessed Light

The FEIT Electric NS01aA11FR1-259 is a 4.76 inch LED recessed fixture with a black eyeball gimbal that rotates 360 degrees horizontally and tilts up to 90 degrees vertically. It operates at 9.8 watts on 120 volts and fits a standard E26 socket base for direct replacement. The unit is rated for outdoor use and carries ETL and FCC certification.

Five Selectable Color Temperatures

A built-in switch lets you choose between 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K and 5000K without swapping the fixture. The LED delivers 700 lumens with a CRI above 90, matching the output of a 40 watt halogen while using far less energy. No separate bulb is required because the light source is integrated.

IC-Rated Canless Housing

The canless design is IC rated for direct contact with ceiling insulation and needs only a shallow plenum depth. Its white trim measures 4.76 by 4.76 by 1.38 inches and mounts flush for a clean ceiling line. The adjustable gimbal lets you aim light at artwork or task areas after installation.

Questions about this item

How long before the LED module needs replacement?

The LED module is rated for a long lifespan that reduces maintenance costs, backed by a 5-year warranty from the manufacturer.

What limits continuous operation first — heat or driver life?

The IC-rated junction box is thermally protected and permitted to contact insulation, so heat buildup in the ceiling space is controlled during sustained use.

How much power does it draw and how hot does the housing get when run all day?

It draws 9.8 watts at 120 volts; the IC-rated design keeps the junction box thermally protected even when insulation is in direct contact.
