Clear polypropylene disc protection

These 100 transparent sleeves are made from 100 micron cast polypropylene film and measure approximately 7.8 by 6.5 by 1.5 inches overall. They fit standard CDs and DVDs while letting you see the label or printed surface without removing the disc. The pack weighs 0.29 kilograms and suits anyone archiving media collections or distributing discs professionally.

Replaces paper or thin plastic envelopes

Paper sleeves can scratch surfaces and tear over time, while flimsy plastic often clouds or splits at the seams. These CPP sleeves add a flap that keeps dust out and the disc seated, so the upgrade is worth it when you handle titles repeatedly or ship them to clients. They are not for buyers who need rigid jewel cases or binders with ring holes.

Consistent clarity and strength across the batch

The cast polypropylene formulation resists static buildup and maintains its transparency after months of shelf storage, so the hundredth sleeve performs like the first. The flap stays sealed during stacking, preventing discs from sliding out under their own weight. They are not for environments that demand archival-grade acid-free certification or temperature-rated enclosures.

Questions about this item

What are the exact dimensions of each sleeve so I can check if my discs will fit?

Each sleeve measures 7.8 inches long by 6.5 inches wide by 1.5 inches high, with a disc pocket of approximately 6 2/18 inches by 5 inches including the flap.

How do I properly insert a disc into these polypropylene sleeves without trapping dust?

Hold the sleeve by the edges, align the disc centre hole with the sleeve opening, and slide the disc in gently until the flap folds over; avoid touching the clear window to keep the viewing area clean.

When should I replace a sleeve if the clear window becomes scratched or cloudy?

Replace a sleeve once the clear window shows visible scratches or cloudiness that obscures the disc label, as the 100 micron cast polypropylene cannot be polished and the pack contains 100 pieces for easy swaps.
