Compact Desk Surface

The Fellowes 58024 mouse pad provides a 9.0 by 8.0 inch tracking area for optical and laser mice. Its low-profile design suits home offices, classroom desks or shared workstations where space is limited. The black polyester surface resists daily wear while keeping cursor movement consistent.

Upgrade From Bare Desk

Replaces an unprotected desktop or a worn fabric pad that no longer glides smoothly. The non-skid rubber base prevents the pad from sliding during fast swipes. The jump is worth it when the desk surface shows scratches or the mouse sensor skips on glossy finishes.

Simple Placement

Lay the pad flat on a clean, dry desk; the rubber base grips immediately without adhesive. The only common issue is curling at the edges if the pad is rolled tightly for storage. Unroll it and press the corners down for a few minutes to flatten it again.

Questions about this item

How much desk space does the 9.0 x 8.0 in Fellowes 58024 mouse pad occupy?

The pad measures 9.0 inches wide by 8.0 inches deep and sits 0.19 inches high, so it needs a flat area at least that large.

What is the correct way to place the non-skid base on the desk so the pad does not slide?

Lay the rubber base directly on a clean, dry desktop with the polyester surface facing up; the non-skid coating grips best when dust is removed first.

When should the 58024 pad be replaced to keep mouse tracking accurate?

Replace it once the polyester surface shows visible wear, fraying or loss of texture that causes the mouse cursor to stutter.
