Professional Series Laptop Workstation

The Fellowes 8024601 is a steel laptop stand finished in black. It positions a notebook at a comfortable height to help prevent neck strain during extended use. The platform supports devices up to 17 inches and 15 lbs with a padded frame and rubber strip for grip.

Four USB ports and document holder

Four integrated USB ports provide plug-and-play connectivity for peripherals without reaching the laptop itself. An in-line document holder accommodates pages in either vertical or horizontal orientation for reference while typing. Nine height selections allow the user to set the exact viewing angle required.

17-inch 15-lb capacity limit

The stand is rated for laptops up to 17 inches in size and a maximum weight of 15 lbs. Heavier mobile workstations or larger gaming notebooks exceed this limit and would need a different support solution. Buyers with smaller ultraportables will find the platform more than adequate.

Questions about this item

Will the rubber strip or padding on the steel frame need replacing after extended use?

The rubber strip and padding are integral to the steel frame and are not designed as user-replaceable parts.

Does the 15 lb weight limit for 17 inch laptops become the limiting factor before the 9 height selections?

The 15 lb capacity is the structural limit; the 9 height selections adjust within that fixed load rating.

How much heat does the unit add when the 4 USB ports are used all day?

The stand has no active cooling; any warmth comes only from the connected USB devices themselves.
