CD jewel cases for vehicle storage

This pack contains six transparent jewel cases sized at 5.59 by 4.88 by 0.39 inches, designed to hold standard CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray discs inside a vehicle. The moulded plastic shell resists impact and scratches while the flip-top lid keeps the disc label visible for quick identification. Each case weighs 65 grams and includes a removable tray that secures the disc with a central locking hub.

Thermals noise and power draw

The cases are passive storage accessories with no electronic components, so they generate no heat, produce no audible noise and draw no electrical power during normal use. Their smooth plastic surfaces can be wiped clean without affecting the transparent finish or the secure hold mechanism. Stackable construction keeps multiple units stable on a dashboard or console without vibration.

Behaviour under sustained load

Under continuous daily use the high-quality plastic maintains its shape and the removable tray continues to click securely around the disc centre hole, preventing slippage even on rough roads. The design reduces contact with the data surface to limit wear over long periods. Buyers who need higher capacity storage or lockable compartments will find this six-piece set does not meet those requirements.

Questions about this item

How do I install a disc in the Fellowes Car Single Clear CD Jewel Case and what step do people often miss?

Lift the flip-top lid, align the disc centre hole with the central circular locking tabs on the removable tray, press down until you hear a click, verify the data surface is clean and the disc sits level, then close the lid fully.

What maintenance will the 6-piece CD case set need over time?

Wipe the smooth plastic surfaces with a soft cloth to remove dust; the removable trays and transparent lids are designed for repeated opening without wear, so no lubrication or part replacement is required.

What is the first limit you hit when storing discs in these 5.59 x 4.88 x 0.39 inch cases under sustained use?

Each case holds exactly one standard-size disc, so the capacity limit is six discs total across the 6-piece pack; the secure disc hold and stackable design prevent further constraints.
