True HEPA replacement filter

This genuine FELLOWES FEL9287201 filter uses HEPA media rated to capture 99.97% of particles down to 0.3 microns. It fits compatible AeraMax air purifiers and includes AeraSafe antimicrobial treatment on the filter media. The white microfibre glass construction measures 16.3 by 12.6 by 1.2 inches and weighs 13.28 ounces. No assembly is required before installation.

Ideal for allergy and asthma relief

Households wanting to remove pollen, dust, pet dander, mould spores, smoke and germs from a single room will benefit from this filter. It is not suited for whole-house filtration, for units that require carbon odour removal, or for buyers needing a washable or reusable filter alternative.

Critical fit: 16.3 x 12.6 x 1.2 inches

Verify that your purifier accepts a filter with these exact dimensions before ordering; an incorrect size will not seal properly and will bypass unfiltered air. The 99.97% HEPA efficiency rating applies only when the filter is correctly seated in a compatible model.

Questions about this item

How do I install the FEL9287201 True HEPA filter and what step is commonly missed?

Open the purifier housing, remove the old filter, insert the new 16.3" x 12.6" x 1.2" filter with the airflow arrow pointing toward the motor, then reset the filter indicator if the unit has one.

What maintenance or replacement will the FEL9287201 filter need later?

The filter itself is not washable; replace it when the purifier's indicator lights or after roughly 12 months of typical use to maintain 99.97% capture of 0.3-micron particles.

What limit appears first on the FEL9287201 during sustained use?

The microfibre glass media gradually loads with pollen, dust, smoke and pet dander, so airflow resistance rises and capture efficiency drops once the filter reaches its particle-holding capacity.
