For 21.5 inch flat panel monitors

This privacy filter fits 21.5 inch flat panel displays with a 16:9 aspect ratio. It blacks out the screen image when viewed from the side while keeping the view crystal clear from straight on. The filter helps protect the screen from scratches and fingerprints. It is compatible with touchscreen laptops and monitors.

Frameless design with two mounting options

The frameless construction uses either double-sided tape or adhesive-backed tabs for attachment. Both methods are included so you can choose a permanent or removable installation. The polyethylene filter adds a layer of surface protection without adding a visible bezel. It supports daily use on shared or public-facing workstations.

Includes tabs and tape for flexible setup

The package supplies double-sided tape and adhesive-backed tabs so you can mount the filter in the way that suits your environment. The filter supports compliance with privacy regulations including HIPAA and is TAA compliant. No recycled content is used in the product.

Questions about this item

How does the 16:9 aspect ratio affect the viewing angle of the filter?

The 16:9 filter matches widescreen monitors so the blackout privacy effect covers the full 21.5" diagonal from side angles while staying clear straight on.

What physical space do the mounting tabs and tape need on a 21.5" flat panel?

The frameless filter measures 18.75" wide by 10.56" high; the tabs and double-sided tape attach to the bezel or screen surface within that footprint.

How do I install the filter using the supplied tabs and double-sided tape without trapping dust?

Clean the screen, align the frameless filter to the 21.5" display, press the adhesive-backed tabs or tape onto the bezel, then smooth from the centre outward to remove bubbles.
