FEMORO USB 3.2 Type C Extension Cable

The FEMORO USB 3.2 Type C extension cable adds three feet of reach between a host and a peripheral. It carries data at up to 20 Gbps, delivers 4K video at 60 Hz and supplies up to 100 W of power through a male-to-female layout. The nylon-braided jacket and aluminium alloy shells resist daily wear and frequent insertion cycles.

Users who need longer reach for docking stations.

This cable suits anyone extending a USB-C connection for data, display or charging without moving the host device. It is not for buyers who require a longer cable than three feet or who need a male-to-male or female-to-female gender configuration. The fixed length and connector orientation cannot be altered.

20 Gbps bandwidth with 4K 60 Hz and 100 W power

The single specification that decides fit is the combined 20 Gbps data rate, 4K 60 Hz video support and 100 W charging capability. If the connected host and device both support this performance tier the cable will not bottleneck them; if either end operates at a lower tier the link will fall back to that lower speed.

Questions about this item

Does the 3 ft USB 3.2 Type C extension cable come with any adapters or power supplies, or is it just the male-to-female cord?

The package contains only the 3 ft USB 3.2 Type C male-to-female extension cable; no adapters, power supplies or additional accessories are included.

Should I pick this 20 Gbps cable over a slower USB-C cable for my 4K 60 Hz monitor?

Choose this cable when you need the full 20 Gbps bandwidth to drive a 4K 60 Hz 3840 x 2160 display; a slower cable would limit video resolution or refresh rate.

Will the 100 W rating actually deliver 100 W to my laptop through the extension?

The cable supports up to 100 W (5 A) power delivery, so it will pass the full 100 W provided your charger, laptop and any hub in the chain all support that level.
