15 ft USB A to C Cable

This FEMORO cable connects a USB-A host to USB-C devices over a 15 ft distance. It carries USB 3.2 Gen 2 signals at 10 Gbps and supports 5 V/3 A charging. The grey braided jacket and aluminium alloy shells are built for repeated bending and long-term desk or living-room use.

Suits users needing reach over speed

The 15 ft length lets you charge a phone, tablet or gamepad from a sofa, bed or car seat while keeping the power brick near the outlet. Builders who need maximum sustained 10 Gbps throughput for external SSDs or who require Power Delivery voltages above 5 V should look at shorter or higher-specification cables instead.

10 Gbps headroom and 3 A charging limit

At full length the cable delivers up to 10 Gbps for moving large photo libraries or video files between an external drive and a laptop. Resistance over 15 ft reduces real-world charging power below the theoretical 3 A, so expect slower top-ups on power-hungry tablets or laptops compared with shorter leads.

Questions about this item

Will the USB-A end fit the standard rectangular port on my desktop or laptop?

Yes, the male USB-A connector plugs directly into any standard USB-A port on a computer or charger.

Can I use this cable with an older USB 2.0 port without losing the ability to charge?

It will charge at USB 2.0 speeds; data transfers fall back to 2.0 rates while 3 A charging still works.

How can I confirm the cable is delivering 10 Gbps after I plug in an external SSD?

Run a large file copy and check that sustained throughput approaches the 10 Gbps rating.
