Adds Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 to a desktop PC via PCI Express with tri-band speeds up to 2400 Mbps on 6 GHz and 5 GHz
The fenvi AX5400 adds Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 to a desktop PC through a PCI Express slot. It targets Windows 10 or 11 64-bit users who want tri-band wireless on the 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz bands without replacing their motherboard.
The card ships with both a standard and a low-profile bracket, so it fits full-size and mini-tower cases. Installation is a matter of seating the card, attaching the chosen bracket, and installing the MediaTek MT7922 driver on Windows 10 or 11; the only common snag is forgetting to enable the 6 GHz band in the router settings.
Verify the motherboard has an open PCI Express slot and that the chassis can accommodate the chosen bracket height. To use the 2400 Mbps 6 GHz link you need a Wi-Fi 6E router operating on that band; otherwise the adapter falls back to 5 GHz or 2.4 GHz at 2400 Mbps or 574 Mbps respectively.

Open Windows Device Manager, locate the adapter under Network adapters, check the Link Speed field while connected to a 6GHz SSID, and run a local throughput test against a Wi-Fi 6E router to verify rates near 2400Mbps.
The box contains the PCIe card, two detachable antennas, a standard-height bracket and a low-profile bracket; a Wi-Fi 6E router operating on the 6GHz band is required to use the 2400Mbps 6GHz speeds.
Select the AX5400 if you have or plan a Wi-Fi 6E router and want 2400Mbps on 6GHz or 5GHz plus Bluetooth 5.3; a Wi-Fi 5 card cannot access the 6GHz band and tops out at lower throughput.
