Flexible PVC Coupling 3/4 in

This Fernco conduit fitting joins two 3/4-inch pipes with a flexible PVC body. Stainless-steel bands secure each end to resist pull-out and vibration. The coupling meets ASTM D5926 and handles pressures up to 4.3 psi at temperatures up to 140 degrees Fahrenheit.

Installers needing chemical-resistant drain links

Suitable for drainage, vent and condensate lines where ground movement or misalignment occurs. The material resists fungus, normal sewer gases and ultraviolet exposure. Not for pressurised supply mains, high-temperature industrial effluent or pipe sizes other than 3/4 inch.

4.3 psi maximum working pressure

This single rating defines the safe limit for any system using the fitting. Exceeding it risks joint failure even with the 300-series stainless bands fully tightened. Always verify that the application pressure stays below this value before installation.

Questions about this item

How much heat can the PVC coupling handle during continuous use?

The fitting is rated for a maximum temperature of 140 degrees Fahrenheit, so it will not soften or deform under normal warm-water or condensate flow.

What pipe size must already be in place for this 3/4 inch connector to fit?

It joins two 3/4 inch PVC pipes; both ends accept the same nominal diameter so no reducer or adapter is needed.

Will the stainless-steel bands corrode when paired with older galvanised or copper pipe?

The 300-series stainless bands resist chemicals, fungus and normal sewer gases, and they do not react with galvanised or copper piping in typical installations.
