Mini PCI-E Adapter for Desktop Use
This Fervit adapter lets you install a mini PCI-E card with a USB interface into a standard PCI-E 1x slot on a desktop motherboard. It accepts both half-size (30x26.8mm) and full-size (30x50mm) cards, making it suitable for adding wireless or modem modules to a PC.
Driver-Free Operation Across Systems
The board requires no extra drivers and works with Windows XP, 2000, 7, 8, 10, WinCE, Linux and iMAC. A SIM card slot is included for cards that need cellular connectivity, and the bracket mounts in a typical expansion slot opening.
Bandwidth Limited to PCI-E 1x Link
The adapter uses a single-lane PCI-E connection, so throughput is capped at the 1x electrical interface. Cards needing higher bandwidth or additional power phases beyond what the slot provides will not reach their full potential on this board.
