This Fervit adapter lets you install an E1.S ruler SSD into a U.2 SFF-8639 slot. It accepts 9.5, 15 and 25 mm thick drives with heatsinks such as the PM9A3, PM9D3 and P5801X. The card targets IoT, data-centre and server builders who need EDSFF density on existing U.2 backplanes. No driver is required because the host sees a standard NVMe device.
