Fervit USB 3.0 19/20Pin Header to Dual Port Adapter Splitter HUB with SATA Power
Converts a single motherboard USB 3.0 19/20-pin header into two headers with SATA power for front-panel devices
- Add two front-panel USB 3.0 ports from one 19/20-pin header
- Transfer files at up to 5 Gbps with USB 3.0 speed
- Extra SATA power keeps both ports stable under load
- Works with front panels, hubs and card readers using 20-pin connectors
- Plug straight into the motherboard header — no drivers required
Single header to dual USB 3.0 ports
This adapter converts one motherboard USB 3.0 19/20-pin header into two female 19/20-pin connectors. It supports front-panel ports, internal hubs and card readers that use the standard 20-pin interface. The board draws auxiliary power from a SATA connector to run both outputs. It suits builders whose chassis has more front-panel ports than onboard headers.
Powered by SATA for stable operation
The extra SATA power cable supplies the splitter so both downstream headers receive adequate current without overloading the motherboard header. No active cooling or fan is present, so the device runs silently inside the case. Power draw in normal use is limited to the connected peripherals and the adapter's own logic.
Splits one 19/20-pin header into two
The single specification that decides fit is the 1-to-2 header split with SATA auxiliary power. Builders needing to connect three or more internal USB 3.0 devices from one header cannot use this part. Boards lacking a spare SATA power connector are also incompatible.

Questions about this item
How do I connect the Fervit adapter to my motherboard 19/20pin header and where does the SATA power cable plug in?
Plug the single 19/20pin male header into the motherboard USB 3.0 socket, attach the two female 19/20pin headers to your front-panel cables, then connect the extra SATA power lead to a spare SATA power connector from the PSU.
Will the SATA power cable or the adapter PCB need replacement after extended use?
The SATA power cable is a standard passive lead with no moving parts, and the adapter PCB has no active components that wear out; neither item has a scheduled replacement interval.
What bandwidth limit appears first when both 20pin ports run at full 5Gbps simultaneously?
The single 19/20pin host link is capped at 5Gbps total, so combined throughput of both ports cannot exceed that 5Gbps ceiling.
