This Fervit adapter splits a single motherboard USB 3.0 19/20-pin or Type-E header into two downstream ports, one 19/20-pin and one Type-E. It is designed for builders who need to connect multiple front-panel USB 3.0 devices such as hubs, card readers or additional I/O brackets from one internal header.

Passive thermals and SATA power

The unit draws supplementary power from a standard SATA connector, allowing both downstream ports to operate at the 5 Gbps USB 3.0 rate without loading the motherboard header. No active cooling is present, so the adapter runs silently and adds negligible heat inside the chassis.

Build integration
