Dual-slot M.2 and 2.5 inch adapter
This Fervit enclosure accepts one M.2 NVME or SATA drive in 2242, 2260 or 2280 sizes and one 2.5 inch SATA drive. It connects to a host via USB 3.0 using the included Type-C and Type-A cables. The unit is bus powered and requires no external supply.
One drive at a time with 10Gbps NVME ceiling
An M.2 NVME drive runs at up to 10Gbps while an M.2 SATA or 2.5 inch SATA drive is limited to 5Gbps. Only one drive operates at once; if both slots are populated the SATA drive takes priority. Hot plugging is not supported so the drive must be swapped with the enclosure disconnected.
Works on Windows 7 through 11, Linux and MAC
Plug-and-play compatibility spans Windows 7, 8, 8.1, 10, 11, Linux and MAC without driver installation. The reversible Type-C cable eases connection orientation. The enclosure does not support 3.5 inch drives, M.2 PCIe AHCI SSDs, mSATA, WiFi cards or capture cards.

Questions about this item
Will this enclosure let me keep using my existing 2.5 inch SATA SSD alongside a new M.2 NVME drive?
The enclosure supports either a 2.5 inch SATA SSD or an M.2 NVME drive, but only one at a time; if both are inserted the SATA drive takes priority.
How can I confirm the M.2 NVME drive is running at the full 10Gbps link after I connect it?
Connect the enclosure to a USB-C Gen 2 10Gbps or USB4 port, then check the negotiated link speed in your operating system’s device manager or system profiler.
Which cables are included and do I need to buy a separate power adapter?
Both a USB-C and a USB-A cable are attached; the unit is bus-powered so no external power supply is required.
