M.2 NVMe and SATA adapter
This USB 3.0 adapter connects a 22x80mm M.2 SSD to a computer using an RTL9210B controller. It accepts M-key NVMe drives and B/M-key SATA drives on its 67-pin B-key slot. The bundle includes the PCBA and a protective case. It is built for users who want to read or write data from a bare M.2 module over a standard USB port.
Capacity and protocol limits
The adapter handles one M.2 drive at a time and passes through either NVMe or SATA commands depending on the installed module. It does not support M-key AHCI SSDs, so drives using that protocol will not function. Throughput is bounded by the USB 3.0 host link, so very fast NVMe drives will not reach their internal peak speeds.
Included PCBA and case
The supplied PCBA carries the RTL9210B chipset and the 67-pin M.2 connector in a single board. The accompanying case encloses the board and the fitted 22x80mm drive, giving a finished external enclosure without extra parts. No cables, software or mounting hardware beyond the case are mentioned in the supply.

Questions about this item
Will this adapter let me keep using my older M-key NVMe SSD alongside a newer SATA drive?
The adapter supports one M-key NVMe or one B/M-key SATA SSD at a time, not both simultaneously.
How can I confirm the RTL9210B chipset is functioning correctly after I connect the adapter?
The SSD should appear in the operating system file manager and BIOS without extra drivers when plugged into a USB 3.0 port.
Does the package include a 22x80mm M.2 SSD or only the PCBA and case?
Only the PCBA with RTL9210B chipset and the enclosure case are included; the M.2 SSD must be purchased separately.
