SKU CH-3T8G-8V07P

Extends USB-C connectivity 30 cm while delivering 20 Gbps data, 100 W power and 8K 60 Hz video over Thunderbolt 3/4

  • 8K video at 60Hz via DP Alternate Mode
  • 20Gbps data speed over USB 4.0
  • 100W charging keeps devices powered
  • Works with Thunderbolt 3 and 4 ports
  • Ultra-soft 30cm cable for flexible routing

Extension Cable 30 cm 20 Gbps

This 30 cm USB 3.2 male-to-female extension cable adds reach between a host port and a USB-C device while preserving full signal quality. It is built for users who need a short, flexible link on a desk or in a rack without sacrificing throughput or charging capability.

20 Gbps bandwidth and 100 W power

The cable carries data at up to 20 Gbps and delivers up to 100 W at 20 V/5 A, so it handles high-resolution video at 8K 60 Hz, 5K 60 Hz or 4K 60 Hz and fast charging simultaneously. It does not support displays that lack DisplayPort Alternate Mode on their USB-C input, and it cannot exceed the 20 Gbps ceiling even with faster host controllers.

Fits tight routing and Thunderbolt gear

The ultra-soft, high-flex jacket eases routing behind monitors or inside shallow cable channels. It works with Thunderbolt 3 and 4 hosts and peripherals, docking stations and external drives, but it cannot convert a non-video USB-C port into a video output.

Questions about this item

Will the 20Gbps data rate and 100W charging work with my older Thunderbolt 3 laptop?

Yes, the cable is backward compatible with Thunderbolt 3 and 4, so it will deliver up to 20Gbps data and 100W power on those ports.

How can I confirm the cable is delivering 8K@60Hz video to my monitor?

Check your display settings; if the monitor shows 8K at 60Hz and its USB-C port supports DP Alternate Mode, the cable is operating correctly.

Does the 30cm package include a power adapter or any extra adapters?

The box contains only the USB 3.2 male-to-female extension cable; a power adapter and any video adapters must be purchased separately.
