USB-C 100W to DC 5.5 mm 65W cable
This cable converts a USB-C Power Delivery source into a DC 5.5 x 2.1 mm barrel output. It is built for laptop owners whose devices charge through a barrel jack but who want to use a modern USB-C charger. The integrated trigger chip requests 20 V at up to 5 A from the source.
Compatibility checks before ordering
Verify that your laptop uses a 5.5 mm outer-diameter barrel connector with a 2.1 mm centre pin. Confirm that your USB-C charger can deliver at least the wattage your laptop requires, because the cable passes through only what the source provides. The cable supports QC 2.0, QC 3.0 and USB PD negotiation.
Sustained-load behaviour
Under continuous load the cable delivers up to 100 W from a capable 20 V source, with 65 W also supported. The internal PD emulator maintains a stable 20 V contract so output voltage does not sag during long charging sessions. No active cooling is present, so keep the cable in open air during extended use.

Questions about this item
Does the cable come with a USB-C charger or do I need to buy one separately?
The cable only provides the DC 5.5 x 2.1 mm connection; you must supply a USB-C charger rated at 65 W or 100 W that supports PD or QC 2.0/3.0.
Should I use this cable with a 65 W or a 100 W USB-C charger?
Choose a charger that matches or exceeds your laptop's power requirement; the cable passes up to 100 W (20 V 5 A) but also works at 65 W.
What does the 100 W rating mean when I plug this into my laptop?
It means the cable can deliver up to 20 V at 5 A (100 W maximum) from a compatible USB-C PD charger to a laptop with a 5.5 mm DC jack.
