Fixed 5V 15W USB-C to DC Cable
This Fervit cable converts a USB-C power source into a fixed 5V DC output through a 5.5*2.5mm barrel jack. It contains a built-in 5.1k resistor and supports up to 3A current for a maximum of 15W. The 100cm two-core cable is designed solely for charging low-power devices and does not transmit data.
Limited to 5V PD Sources Only
The cable only works with standard USB-C Power Delivery chargers that can provide a 5V fixed supply. It is incompatible with 9V, 12V, 15V or 20V high-voltage outputs and does not support any fast charging protocols. The output is strictly limited to 5V 3A max, so it cannot power devices requiring higher voltages or currents exceeding 3A.
Check Device Voltage and Jack Size
Before ordering, verify that your device requires exactly 5V input and uses a 5.5mm outer diameter by 2.5mm inner diameter DC barrel connector. Ensure your USB-C charger supports a standard 5V output profile. This cable is not suitable for laptops, high-power electronics or any device needing data transfer or voltages above 5V.

Questions about this item
Should I pick a different resistor value or cable length for my device?
This cable has a fixed 5.1 k resistor and 100 cm length; it delivers only 5 V at up to 3 A, so choose it only if your device needs exactly that specification.
What does the 15 W maximum actually power in daily use?
It runs low-power gear such as dashcams, LED strips, mini desk lamps or USB cooling fans, but cannot charge laptops or trigger fast-charge voltages.
Does the USB-C plug negotiate higher voltages like 9 V or 12 V?
No, the built-in 5.1 k resistor limits the handshake to a fixed 5 V output; 9 V, 12 V, 15 V and 20 V are not supported.
