USB-C to DC 4.8×1.7 mm 90° adapter
This Fervit adapter converts a USB-C Power Delivery source into a 4.8 mm by 1.7 mm DC barrel output for laptops. The 90-degree angled plug fits tight spaces around the power port. An integrated LED display shows real-time voltage, current and power. It is built for users who want to run or charge a barrel-jack laptop from a USB-C PD charger.
100 W PD input requirement
The adapter delivers up to 100 W at 20 V and 5 A only when the connected USB-C charger and cable both support 100 W or higher. Lower-rated sources will fall back to 65 W or the 18.5 V to 20.5 V range. The trigger chip negotiates PD 2.0, 3.0 and QC protocols automatically. Buyers whose charger tops out below 100 W cannot reach the maximum output.
4.8 mm × 1.7 mm barrel fit
The single specification that decides compatibility is the DC plug size: 4.8 mm outer diameter by 1.7 mm inner diameter. If the laptop’s power jack differs, the adapter will not connect. No other voltage or current setting can compensate for a physical mismatch. Verify the jack dimensions before purchase.

Questions about this item
How do I know if my laptop's DC port matches the 4.8x1.7mm jack on this adapter?
Measure your laptop's DC input port — the centre pin must be 1.7 mm and the outer barrel 4.8 mm for a secure fit.
What does the 100W rating actually deliver when I plug this into my laptop?
It passes up to 20 V at 5 A from a 100 W USB-C charger; both the charger and cable must also be rated for 100 W to reach that level.
Which USB-C charging standards does the Type-C input support?
The input works with PD, QC 2.0 and QC 3.0 chargers, negotiating up to 20 V for the DC output.
