Fervit USB-C to DC 5.5×2.5 mm cable
This cable converts a USB-C Power Delivery source into a 5.5 mm × 2.5 mm DC barrel output at 20 V. It is intended for users who want to power a laptop with a compatible DC jack from a high-wattage USB-C charger.
Charger requirement and power limits
The cable only delivers its rated output when paired with a USB-C charger capable of 135 W or 140 W. Lower-wattage sources will not trigger the 20 V 7 A profile, so the laptop may not charge or may charge slowly.
Built-in 140 W PD trigger
An integrated PD emulator at the USB-C plug negotiates the 20 V 7 A contract automatically. Without this trigger the cable cannot request the high-voltage profile from the charger.

Questions about this item
Should I choose the 65 W, 100 W, 135 W or 140 W output option for my laptop?
Match the cable to a 135 W or 140 W USB-C PD charger; the built-in trigger then negotiates up to 140 W at 20 V 7 A, while also supporting 135 W, 100 W and 65 W profiles automatically.
What does the 140 W rating actually deliver to a laptop with a 5.5 × 2.5 mm DC jack?
With a compatible 135 W or 140 W USB-C PD charger the cable supplies a steady 20 V at up to 7 A, giving the full 140 W to the laptop’s DC input.
Which charging protocols does the USB-C end speak, and what power level do they cap at?
The connector handles USB PD plus QC 2.0 and QC 3.0, but the emulator trigger only unlocks the 20 V 7 A 140 W profile when the source charger is rated 135 W or 140 W.
