USB-C to DC 5.5x2.5mm adapter
This Fervit adapter converts a USB-C Power Delivery source into a 5.5 mm by 2.5 mm DC barrel output for laptops. It supports Quick Charge 2.0, Quick Charge 3.0 and USB PD protocols with a built-in 100 W trigger. The 90-degree angled connector fits tight spaces around the port. An integrated LED display shows live voltage, current and power readings.
Power delivery limits
The adapter delivers a maximum of 100 W at 20 V and 5 A through the DC jack. It also operates at 65 W and accepts an input voltage range of 18.5 V to 20.5 V. To reach the 100 W ceiling the connected USB-C charger and cable must each be rated for 100 W or higher. Lower-rated sources will restrict the available output accordingly.
Compatibility checks
Verify that your laptop uses a 5.5 mm outer diameter and 2.5 mm inner diameter DC barrel jack before ordering. Confirm the device requires 20 V operation within the supported input range. Ensure your USB-C power supply and cable are both capable of 100 W if you need the full rated output. The adapter is plug-and-play with no driver installation required.
