What this cable does

This Fervit USB4 cable carries data at up to 20Gbps, delivers up to 100W of power and drives a single external display at 8K 60Hz, 5K 60Hz or 4K 60Hz. The flat FPC construction keeps the 20cm run slim and flexible for tight desk routing.

Who it suits and who it does not

It suits users who need the full USB4 20Gbps bandwidth plus 100W charging and 8K video in a short cable. It does not suit anyone who needs a longer reach, multiple display outputs or a higher data rate than 20Gbps.

The deciding specification

The single figure that decides fit is the 20Gbps USB4 data rate; if your host and peripheral both support that speed you get the rated throughput, otherwise the link falls back to the lowest common denominator.

Questions about this item

Must my laptop have a USB4 port to reach the 20Gbps data rate?

The cable is rated for up to 20Gbps on USB4.0 connections; actual speed depends on the host port and device capabilities.

Will my existing USB-C monitor work at 8K@60Hz with this cable?

The cable supports 8K@60Hz video, but the monitor's USB-C port must support DP Alternate Mode for video output.

How can I verify the cable is delivering 100W charging after I connect it?

Check the power readout on the connected device or a USB power meter; it should show up to 20V/5A when the source and device both support 100W PD.
