USB4 80 Gbps cable for high-speed workflows
This Fervit USB-C to USB-C cable supports the USB4 2.0 standard with up to 80 Gbps bandwidth for Thunderbolt 5 devices. It also works with 40, 20, 10 and 5 Gbps links. The 1.6 ft length suits setups where space is tight and long runs are not needed.
Flat copper core with E-marker chip
A flexible flat copper conductor makes the short cable durable and easy to route. The built-in E-marker enables Power Delivery 3.1 up to 240 W at 48 V 5 A, with backward compatibility for 140, 100 and 60 W devices. Intelligent current regulation protects connected gear from overcharging.
Requires DP Alt Mode for video
Video output up to 8K at 60 Hz or dual 4K at 60 Hz only works when both host and display ports support DisplayPort Alternate Mode. Without that support the cable still handles data and charging but cannot drive a monitor.

Questions about this item
Does the USB4 80Gbps cable actually deliver 80Gbps with Thunderbolt 5 devices?
Yes, the cable supports the USB4 Ver 2.0 standard and reaches the maximum 80Gbps bandwidth when used with 80Gbps-compatible Thunderbolt 5 devices. It also works at 40, 20, 10 and 5Gbps with other hosts.
What physical clearance does the 1.6ft flat cable need to fit between devices?
The short 1.6ft design uses a copper-core flexible flat construction that saves space and bends easily in tight gaps behind monitors, docks or laptop ports.
How do I get 8K@60Hz video over this cable, and what is the common mistake?
Both the source and display USB-C ports must support DP Alt Mode; the cable carries the signal up to 8K@60Hz or dual 4K@60Hz (with two cables). The step people miss is checking that both ports explicitly list DP Alt Mode support.
