25 Gbps CWDM transceiver at 1270 nm reaches 10 km over single-mode fibre with 1.4 W maximum draw
This 25G SFP28 CWDM transceiver operates at 1270nm over single-mode fiber for distances up to 10km. It is built for network engineers deploying 25GBASE-LR Ethernet or CPRI option 10 links in carrier and enterprise environments. The module uses a duplex LC connector and follows the SFF-8402 MSA form factor for hot-pluggable installation.
The transceiver maintains a 25.78 Gbps line rate with built-in CDR on both transmitter and receiver paths, keeping signal integrity stable over the full 10km reach. It supports 25GBASE-LR at 25.78G and CPRI option 10 at 24.33G without rate degradation during continuous operation. An uncooled CWDM DFB laser provides the optical source for consistent long-haul performance.
Maximum power consumption is 1.4W from a single 3.3V supply, limiting thermal load in dense chassis. The module complies with SFF-8472 diagnostics for real-time monitoring of temperature, voltage and optical levels. It is coded for wide compatibility with Cisco, Juniper and other open switches, and meets RoHS and TAA requirements.

The module draws a maximum of 1.4 W from a single 3.3 V supply, so it adds very little heat to a switch chassis even under continuous load.
You need a switch or router with an SFP28 cage that accepts CWDM coding; the supplier will program the module for your specific brand and model before shipment.
Yes, the SFP28 form factor is backward-compatible with SFP+ cages, and the 25 Gbps link operates independently of any 10 G channels already in use.
