The module delivers a 2km link distance on single-mode fiber at 25.78 Gbps. It supports 25GBASE-LR Ethernet and CPRI Option 10 at 24.33 Gbps for 5G transport. Built-in CDR on both transmitter and receiver maintains signal integrity across the span. Networks needing 10km or 20km reach cannot use this module.

Low power and hot-pluggable operation

The transceiver draws power from a single 3.3V supply and conforms to the SFF-8402 MSA for hot-pluggable use. A 2-wire interface compliant with SFF-8472 provides management and diagnostic monitoring. The 1310nm DFB laser and duplex LC connector complete the physical interface. No active cooling is required within the rated industrial temperature range.
