This bidirectional transceiver delivers a 1.25Gbps data rate over a single strand of single-mode fibre up to 80km. It uses a 1490nm DFB laser transmitter and receives at 1550nm through a simplex LC connector. The module suits network operators extending Gigabit Ethernet or Fibre Channel connections between sites.

Hot-pluggable SFP MSA design

The module complies with INF-8074i SFP MSA and IEEE 802.3ah 1000BASE-BX-U, allowing insertion or removal without powering down the host switch. A two-wire management interface implements SFF-8472 digital diagnostics so you can monitor temperature, voltage and optical power in real time during sustained operation. It runs on a single 3.3V supply and meets RoHS requirements.

Verify host coding and matching wavelength before

The supplier requires the exact brand and model of your host equipment to programme the correct EEPROM coding for compatibility.
