The Field Controls GVD-8PL is a 24 VAC automatic vent damper designed for gas heating systems. It opens to permit natural draft during appliance operation and closes to stop residual heat and conditioned air from escaping during off cycles. Stainless steel construction provides corrosion resistance for long service life.

Integration Requirements

The damper operates with 24 VAC, 60 Hz intermittent or standing pilot ignition systems and installs in the vent connector. A separate GVD-UWK wiring harness is required and connects via a keyed plug that prevents incorrect wiring. Dual safety switches allow the burner to fire only when the damper is fully open.
