Scale and purpose

This 1/87 scale diecast model replicates the Komatsu D155AX-8 Dozer Waste Handler for adult collectors and HO layout builders. It arrives brand new in its original box and is intended for display rather than play. The detailed cab interior and operator control center satisfy enthusiasts who value accurate heavy-equipment representation. Buyers seeking a toy for young children or a motorised RC vehicle should look elsewhere.

Build integration

The model measures approximately 5.75 inches long, 2 inches wide and 2.25 inches high, fitting standard HO scale scenes without modification. Working segmented metal tracks and an adjustable blade allow flexible positioning on a diorama or shelf. Real rubber tires and a mix of diecast and plastic parts keep the piece stable on track ballast or scenery foam. No external power, track wiring or digital decoder is required.

Thermals noise and power

As a static diecast replica the model generates no heat, emits no sound and draws no electricity during normal use. The only physical interaction comes from manually adjusting the blade or rolling the metal tracks by hand. Long-term display stability depends on ambient conditions rather than active cooling or power management.

Questions about this item

What is the first limitation when displaying this 1/87 scale diecast dozer continuously?

The painted finish and small plastic details can fade or become brittle under prolonged direct sunlight or strong indoor lighting.

Does the model generate any noise, heat or draw power during all-day display?

No. It is a static diecast replica with no motor, electronics or battery, so it remains completely silent, cool and power-free.

What must the buyer already own for the adjustable blade and working metal tracks to function?

Only your hands. The blade pivots and the segmented tracks roll freely without tools, batteries or external accessories.
