Interface limits

The blankets rely on passive radiant reflection rather than active heating, so they cannot raise core temperature on their own. They provide no moisture barrier beyond the Mylar film and offer no structural rigidity for splinting. Once opened the polybag seal is broken, and the thin material can tear if snagged on sharp edges.
