Check device battery door and voltage

Verify that your equipment accepts the NP-F970 form factor and operates at 7.4 V; the pack replaces Sony NP-F550, F570, F750, F770, F960 and F970 cells. Confirm the charger’s Micro-USB or USB-C input can be powered from your existing 5 V USB wall adapter, car charger or power bank.

Charger thermals and USB power draw

The dual charger uses LED indicators (red while charging, green when full) and includes protection against over-charge, over-voltage, over-current, short-circuit and high temperature. In normal use it draws power from any standard 5 V USB source, so heat and noise remain minimal.
