Fitbit Charge HR Black Small

The Fitbit Charge HR is a black wrist-worn fitness band built for continuous heart-rate monitoring, automatic workout detection, sleep tracking and a silent vibrating alarm. Data synchronises wirelessly to a smartphone or computer so daily activity trends stay visible in one place.

For users who want all-day pulse and sleep insight

Buyers who need built-in GPS for phone-free route mapping should look elsewhere, as should anyone requiring on-screen message replies, contactless payments or music storage. Swimmers needing a fully waterproof band for lap counting will also find this model unsuitable.

Continuous wrist-based heart-rate tracking

The defining specification is automatic heart-rate and heart-rate-zone measurement throughout the day and during exercise. If that metric is not a priority, a simpler step-counting tracker would cover the basics.

Questions about this item

What wrist circumference does the Small band fit?

The Small band is designed for smaller wrists and fastens with a clasp; check the Fitbit sizing guide for exact measurements.

How do I set up heart-rate tracking on the Charge HR?

Wear the band snugly about two finger-widths above the wrist bone, then pair it with the Fitbit app to enable continuous heart-rate monitoring.

When will the rechargeable battery need replacement?

The built-in battery lasts several days per charge; after a few years of daily charging it may hold less power and require service by Fitbit.
