Fitbit Surge GPS Fitness Watch Small

The Fitbit Surge is a GPS-enabled fitness watch with wrist-based heart rate monitoring built for daily activity tracking. It records steps, distance, calories burned, floors climbed and active minutes automatically. The touchscreen LCD shows call and text notifications plus music controls from a paired phone. A vibration motor provides silent alarms and alerts.

Who This Suits And Who It Does Not

This suits runners and walkers who want route, pace, elevation and split data without carrying a phone. It also fits users wanting continuous heart rate zones and sleep monitoring in one band. Buyers who need swim-proof water resistance should look elsewhere. Users requiring onboard music storage or contactless payments will not find those features here.

Battery Life With GPS Active

GPS battery life lasts up to 10 hours on a full charge while general use reaches up to 7 days. The lithium-polymer cell recharges in one to two hours. This runtime decides whether the watch can cover a full day of long-distance training or a multi-day hike without a charger.
