Product identity

The FiveStar FSA-3806R-EGG is a black outdoor TV antenna designed for viewers who want free over-the-air channels without a subscription. It receives full-band DTV, VHF, UHF and FM signals and supports resolutions up to 4K and 1080p for multiple televisions.

Installation experience

Setup takes about one minute and includes a 360-degree motorised rotation controlled from indoors so the antenna can be aimed without climbing back onto the roof. A built-in LTE filter removes 4G phone interference and the shielded cable connection helps minimise signal loss during the install.

Reception limits

The amplified front-end provides 15–35 dB gain across a 45–860 MHz operating range and the manufacturer states a maximum reach of 200 miles. Six UHF reflector elements and larger VHF elements extend the pattern, but terrain, buildings and broadcast power will reduce the practical distance well below that figure.
