Big & Tall chair rated to 400 lb

This Flash Furniture office chair carries a 400 lb weight capacity and is built for larger users who need a sturdy seat for long work sessions. The mid-back design includes built-in lumbar support and a tufted back style. Black LeatherSoft upholstery covers the 20 inch seat and 20 inch back. Height-adjustable padded arms complete the ergonomic package.

Alloy steel frame with chrome accents

The frame uses alloy steel for strength while chrome and plastic components form the base and trim. LeatherSoft and foam provide the seating surface. Overall dimensions are 29.0 in by 29.0 in by 42.75 in. Adjustable features let the user set arm height and seat height to match their desk. The chair ships as a single unit ready for assembly.

Weight capacity defines the practical limit

The 400 lb rating is the key constraint; users above that threshold will need a different solution. The mid-back height suits task work but does not support the head or upper shoulders. Fixed overall dimensions mean the chair cannot be made narrower for tight spaces. Buyers who need a taller back or a smaller footprint should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

What weight capacity does the 400 lb rating actually support in daily use?

The chair is rated for 400 lb, meaning the frame, base and gas lift are tested to hold that load continuously during normal office use.

How much floor space do the 29.0 in width and depth dimensions require?

The chair occupies a 29.0 in by 29.0 in footprint, so allow at least that much clear floor area plus room to swivel and roll.

Which bolts or screws attach the adjustable arms, and which step is most often missed?

The arms fasten to the seat underside with the supplied bolts; the step most often missed is tightening them fully after setting the desired arm height.
