Flashpoint Wave Commander II Wireless Shutter Kit for Nikon 10-Pin

Wireless Shutter Kit for Nikon 10-Pin

The Flashpoint Wave Commander II is a wireless remote kit designed for Nikon cameras equipped with a 10-pin connector. It provides photographers with remote triggering capability up to 330 feet away. The system suits landscape, wildlife and studio shooters who need to operate the camera without physical contact. It is not intended for cameras lacking the 10-pin port or for users requiring wired-only operation.

2.4GHz Transmitter with 32 Channels

The transmitter uses 2.4GHz wireless transmission across 32 selectable channels to minimise interference from other devices. Its portable, lightweight build allows convenient on-the-go use and the kit supports multi-camera control from a single handset. The receiver connects via the camera's 10-pin terminal, enabling reliable communication for everyday shooting workflows. No hot-shoe mounting or additional cabling details are provided in the specifications.

Shooting Modes and Range Limits

The system delivers single, continuous, BULB, delay and timer schedule shooting modes plus interval and time-lapse functions. Wireless operation extends to 100 metres (330 feet) under clear conditions. Performance depends on line-of-sight and local RF environment; the 32 channels help avoid congestion but cannot guarantee uninterrupted links in dense 2.4GHz traffic. Buyers needing tethered USB control or built-in GPS logging should consider other solutions.
