Heat-Resistant Countertop Mat

The FLASLD AFM mat is a reusable silicone-coated fiberglass sheet measuring 12 by 18 inches. It protects kitchen surfaces from hot appliances such as air fryers, coffee makers and crockpots. The non-slip surface keeps items stable during use. It is suitable for anyone needing a flexible barrier against heat, grease and scratches.

Sustained Heat Performance

The mat withstands continuous exposure up to 1100 °F and is rated fireproof to 1022 °F (550 °C). It remains stable under prolonged appliance operation without degrading or transferring heat to the countertop. The material does not absorb odours and maintains its non-stick properties over repeated cycles.

Temperature and Care Limits

The usable range spans from -40 °F to 1100 °F, covering freezer-to-oven transitions. Cleaning requires only a wet cloth or a rinse with water; the mat is hand-wash only and not dishwasher-safe. It rolls up for compact storage but must not be cut or folded sharply.

Questions about this item

Does the 12" x 18" mat get hot or degrade when an air fryer runs all day at high temperature?

The silicone-coated fibreglass material is rated to 1022 °F (550 °C), well above normal air-fryer exhaust, so it will not melt, scorch or radiate noticeable heat onto the worktop.

What must I already own for this mat to serve its purpose?

A flat, stable countertop and a hot appliance such as an air fryer, toaster oven, coffee maker or crock-pot that you want to protect the surface from.

Will the 12" x 18" size accommodate the feet of my older, larger air fryer without overhang?

The mat measures 12 by 18 inches; measure your appliance’s footprint — if it fits within those dimensions the feet will sit fully on the non-slip surface.
