Heat Resistant Mat 12x18in

The FLASLD AFM mat measures 12 by 18 inches and uses silicone coated fiberglass fabric to shield countertops from hot appliances such as air fryers, coffee pots and baking sheets. It is non stick, non slip, waterproof and reusable for everyday kitchen protection.

Upgrade From Basic Trivets

Unlike single pot holders or thin trivets this mat covers a larger surface so heat from high temperature appliances cannot reach the counter. The jump is worth it when you run an air fryer or toaster oven regularly and need continuous coverage rather than moving small pads between batches.

Suits Busy Home Cooks

Buyers who want a single washable layer that rolls up for storage and handles temperatures up to 1100°F will find it practical. Those who need a fitted liner for a specific appliance footprint or a magnetic mount should look at something else.

Questions about this item

What countertop space does the 12 by 18 inch mat cover?

The mat measures 12 inches by 18 inches, giving you a 12-by-18-inch footprint to place under an air fryer, toaster oven, coffee maker or other hot appliance.

How do I position the mat so it stays flat and protects the surface?

Unroll the flexible silicone-coated fibreglass fabric onto a clean, dry countertop; it lays flat without wrinkles and the non-slip surface grips the counter so the appliance will not shift during use.

When should I replace the mat if it sees repeated 1022 °F exposure?

The silicone-coated fibreglass fabric is rated to 1022 °F (550 °C) and is tear- and abrasion-resistant; replace it only if you see cuts, deep scorch marks or the non-slip grip deteriorates after many wash cycles.
